Advanced Applied Kinesiology

We are honoured to announce the launch of our educational series on Advanced Applied Kinesiology. We extend a special invitation to those seeking a deeper understanding of the body and the self.

 COURSE DESCRIPTION

Students will learn the ancestral practice of bone setting and healing that our foremother Hazel Schroeder called Advanced Applied Kinesiology. This course will teach a practical approach to anatomy and hands-on manipulations. Students will learn to treat sprains, twists in the joints, sports injuries, old injuries, and chronic issues.

Whether you are a beginner seeking to acquire new skills or an experienced professional looking to expand your toolkit, you will gain knowledge, technique, and a deeper understanding of how the body works.

The introductory course Advanced Applied Kinesiology Level 1 teaches foundational knowledge, giving students an understanding of the history, principles, and practical techniques of AAK. Students will receive comprehensive and immersive training designed to teach them to align themselves and how to treat friends and family. Students will also leave prepared with the necessary knowledge to take Level 2, should they continue.

Advanced Applied Kinesiology Level 2 builds on the principles and techniques introduced in Level 1 and is designed for those who wish to practice AAK in their communities and open up their own practice. Students will receive a more profound knowledge base through learning diagnosing and advanced practices.

Level 1 runs from September 2024 to November 2024. Weekly Zoom classes will be recorded for those who cannot attend live, and weekly in-person workshops will be held for hands-on training and practical application.

LEVEL 1 - LEARNING GOALS

This course is designed to equip you with a comprehensive understanding of anatomy and the interdependence of body systems. Level 1 training will prepare you to help yourself, your family, and your friends and prepare you for Level 2 practitioner training.

You will gain proficiency in safely and effectively manipulating joints to relieve pain from common injuries and chronic issues, including low back, hip, and knee pain. Additionally, you will understand treatment protocols and be able to communicate clearly with those you seek to help.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

Anyone who is interested in healing themselves and helping family and friends may join this course. No prerequisites are required, as this information is intended for everyone. Every moment of your life is spent in your body, and no one should have more access or authority over your well-being than you.

LEVEL 2 - LEARNING GOALS

This course is designed to expand your knowledge from level 1 and help you begin diagnosing more advanced injuries and chronic issues, which you will then incorporate into your clinical practice. We will dive more thoroughly into the root causes of many ailments and how closely our body is linked through our intricate systems. Included in this course is a 100 hour practicum with Candace.

WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

For those who want to open a clinical practice or further their knowledge in anatomy, this course will focus on looking at the root causes of dis-ease rather than the symptoms. Prerequisites - Level 1.

Listening to a current student practitioner's journey from client to student; looking for answers when modern medicine didn't have them led her to the healing practice of bone setting and the desire to become a practitioner.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

Weekly Zoom Class: Engage in lively discussions and interactive sessions with Candace and fellow students. These weekly calls will provide lessons on anatomy and the principles of bone setting and ample opportunity for questions and discussions. Together, we'll deepen our understanding of advanced applied kinesiology.

Weekly In-Person Class: Immerse yourself in hands-on learning during our weekly in-person workshops. These dynamic sessions will allow you to practice bone-setting techniques, refine and build your intuition, and gain valuable experience under the guidance of Candace. Each week, you will gain tangible skills in joint manipulation.
